Job Title: L&D/Postpartum
Location: Lincoln City, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $75 – $81/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D/Postpartum for a temporary assignment in Lincoln City, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D/Postpartum:
• Provide labor, delivery, and recovery care including post-partum and newborn care in a family-centered environment
• Deliver gynecological (GYN) surgical care as required
• Perform triage assessments for obstetric patients
• Manage labor and delivery care for patients
• Provide postpartum care and support to patients and families
• Deliver newborn and nursery care services
• Maintain current unencumbered RN license
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain current AHA ACLS certification
• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Apply basic fetal monitoring skills in clinical practice
• Assist in the stabilization of high-risk neonates as needed
• Work within a highly trained multidisciplinary team of nurses and medical staff
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for safe patient care delivery
