Job Title: Oncology Nurse Practitioner
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $116 – $125/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Oncology Nurse Practitioner:
• Provide Nurse Practitioner services in an outpatient Medical Oncology/Hematology clinic setting
• Work a 1.0 FTE schedule with standard 8-hour daily shifts
• See an average of 14-15 adult patients per day
• Perform rounding duties as part of clinical responsibilities
• Work collaboratively 1:1 with a Medical Oncologist
• Maintain an active Washington state NP license prior to start date
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system
• Provide documentation of hematology/medical oncology services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements with no exemptions accepted
• Deliver care exclusively within clinic/outpatient privileges with no call requirement
