Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $195 – $210/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 24-bed inpatient unit, including adult and adolescent (6-bed) units
• Perform ER evaluations and general hospital consults, willing to see all ages and diagnoses
• Work a 7-day on/7-day off schedule with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
• Provide 1-2 nights of call per 7-day shift
• Collaborate and work alongside another psychiatrist on the 7-day on/off rotation
• Utilize telemedicine to connect with the general hospital when needed
• Work with support staff including APPs (1-2 typically), social work, discharge team, and intake team
• Maintain Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Utilize Epic (EMR) for clinical documentation
• Be available to complete full orientation prior to start of assignment
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
