Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Maintain current licensure verified through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam during onboarding
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam during onboarding
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam during onboarding
• Complete CNE Core Competencies during onboarding
• Hold or obtain a BSN degree
• Maintain up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination records
• Maintain current MMR immunization documentation
• Complete and maintain Fit Test certification
• Provide documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Provide proof of Influenza Vaccine prior to submission
• Maintain current Varicella immunization documentation
• Maintain current Tdap immunization documentation
• Complete 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing
• Provide a valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Submit CNE Profile prior to start
• Provide 2 professional references prior to submission
• Complete and submit CNE Work Attestation
• Complete criminal background check
• Complete CNE First Look orientation packet
• Sign CNE Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement
• Complete CNE Employment Verification
• Complete CNE Covid and Flu Policy CNE Form
• Obtain CNE Confirmation of Assignment
• Provide CNE Badge Photo
• Complete CNE Occupational Health Request for Clearance Form
• Complete RI Fingerprinting (RN only)
