Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $99 – $106/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Provide OBGYN advanced practice provider (APP) services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform routine GYN exams and procedures
• Assist with surgical procedures including robotics and laparoscopy
• See an average of 16 patients per day
• Provide care for patients aged 14 and older
• Maintain both hospital and clinic privileges
• Work collaboratively with supporting OBGYN MDs
• Maintain a valid Washington State license prior to start date
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting (required)
• Provide case logs/documentation of clinical services representative of scope and complexity of privileges requested covering the previous 24 months
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
