Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $189 – $203/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide anesthesia services as a CRNA in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Work under medical direction of Anesthesiologists, typically at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
• Cover surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology (no cardiac cases)
• Perform and manage Intubation, Central Line placement, and Arterial Line placement
• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric to adult patient populations (healthy pediatric patients age 5 and up; no neonatal or OB cases)
• Perform Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) coverage as required
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain active NBCRNA Board Certification
• Maintain valid Kentucky state licensure
• Meet minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience with recent experience in a large medical center setting
• Demonstrate Level 1 Trauma experience
• Adhere to COVID-19 and Flu vaccine requirements (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
• Complete required credentialing and privileging process prior to start of assignment
• Submit CV in MM/YYYY format with explanations for any employment gaps greater than 3 months
• Complete the required Provider Questionnaire as part of the submission process
• Disclose any malpractice history with accompanying first and third party statements if applicable
