Job Title: Dermatologist
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $228 – $246/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Dermatologist for a temporary assignment in Rochester, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Dermatologist:
• Provide dermatology patient care services with a patient load of 25-35 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Float between primary office and support location as needed
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and charting
• Perform minor surgical procedures if experienced and qualified to do so
• Maintain Board Certification in applicable specialty (highly preferred)
• Maintain a minimum of 3 years of recent relevant clinical experience
• Work collaboratively with support staff (LPN, RN, MA) assigned per patient ratio
• Maintain valid state licensure, including pending NY licensure if applicable
• Ensure work history is current with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Provide a physician statement for any malpractice history, dismissed or otherwise
• Submit CV reflecting full experience history, requested time off, and malpractice review
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
