Job Title: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 7:30AM – 5:30PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $111 – $120/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner:
• Provide Nurse Practitioner (NP) services specializing in Cardiology, specifically Electrophysiology (EP)
• Work 10-hour day shifts, 7am-5pm
• Perform both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties within a 245-bed facility
• Conduct rounding and admissions for adult patient population
• Manage an average of 12-14 patients per day
• Hold and maintain a valid Washington State ARNP license (compact NLC not accepted)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation
• Practice independently, as provider will work solo
• Demonstrate 12 months of clinical practice within the ARNP area of specialization within the past five (5) years, or graduation from an accredited program within the past 12 months
• Comply with flu vaccine requirement (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and credentialing requirements
