Job Title: SURG-TECH
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SURG-TECH for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SURG-TECH:
• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS certification required
• CST preferred but not required
• Minimum of current or very recent 2 years of Vascular/Endovascular experience required
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation
• Float and assist in General Surgery when vascular volumes are low
• Work 40 hours per week, either four (4) 10-hour days or five (5) 8-hour shifts per traveler preference
• Take a minimum of 2-3 days of call per week, dependent on staffing levels
• Participate in every other weekend call rotation, beginning at shift end on Friday through Monday morning at 7:00 AM
• Participate in possible holiday call rotation depending on how holidays fall during the assignment
