Job Title: SLP
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $44 – $48/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SLP for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SLP:
• Perform, analyze, and coordinate diagnostic sleep studies including PSG, MSLT, and CPAP
• Ensure accurate data collection and scoring for physician interpretation
• Independently conduct high-quality sleep testing
• Monitor and maintain sleep study equipment
• Identify and resolve technical issues to support optimal equipment performance
• Assess patient status throughout the duration of testing
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures
• Maintain clear communication with care teams to support continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation to support billing processes
• Participate in quality improvement efforts
• Complete assigned projects as directed
• Work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), three 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends
• Hold applicable credentials (RPSGT or RRT with A-Step modules)
• Possess a minimum of one year of related experience
• Demonstrate strong technical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
