Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Kremmling, Colorado
Schedule: 6:00AM – 4:00PM x 6
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Kremmling, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Utilize Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent protocols
• Apply Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) standards and protocols
• Apply Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) standards and protocols
• Maintain Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN) certification or equivalent
• Achieve patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
• Work night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week
• Complete two call shifts per six-week period
• Be available for holiday coverage as required
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required
• Preferred experience in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) settings
• Experience with Trauma Level IV care preferred
• Disclose all requests for time off during the submission and interview process
