Job Title: ICU
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ICU for a temporary assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ICU:
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history and current medical status
• Monitor and document vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in the planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain NIHSS certification
• Demonstrate proficiency in CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
• Demonstrate proficiency in Balloon Pump operation
• Be available for holiday shifts as required
• Work every other weekend as required
• Float to Progressive Care (3N) as needed
• Adhere to dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)
• Maintain valid State of New Hampshire RN license
• Apply excellent mathematical and analytical skills in patient care delivery
• Utilize excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Apply medical terminology knowledge in daily practice
• Maintain a minimum of 3 years of previous nursing experience, with ICU experience required
