Job Title: PACU
Location: Bangor, Maine
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PACU for a temporary assignment in Bangor, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PACU:
• Perform patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing policies and procedures
• Work under the supervision of the Unit Director
• Receive direct supervision from the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during assigned shifts
• Maintain current Maine RN license or compact license
• Maintain current BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
• Obtain and maintain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Obtain and maintain PALS certification within 1 year of hire
• Hold an ASN degree (BSN preferred)
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in all patient care interactions
• Function as a team player within the unit and broader healthcare team
• Utilize the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures for patient care delivery
