Job Title: OB Nurse
Location: Sidney, Montana
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $78 – $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB Nurse for a temporary assignment in Sidney, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB Nurse:
• Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs)
• Serve as 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent, patient-centered care
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery
• Float to Med/Surg, CCU, or ER to assist as needed
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
• Maintain required certifications including NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
• Must be labor-trained
• Be available to be placed on-call by OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract if needed
