Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 24-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $193 – $208/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB for a temporary assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. These positions are 24-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB:
• Provide OB/GYN General Clinic coverage across multiple clinic locations
• Work Monday through Friday, 7am–3pm with flexible start and end times
• Participate in overnight (7pm–7am) or weekend call (7am–7am) shifts as needed, including 12-hour or 24-hour call shifts
• See approximately 18–22 patients per day in a general OB/GYN clinic setting
• Collaborate with midwives, Nurse Practitioners, RNs, and Clinical Assistants (Medical Assistants or LPNs) as part of the care team
• Perform required procedures including LARC insertion, Colposcopy, Endometrial Biopsy, and LEEP
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation
• Float between multiple clinic locations as needed
• Maintain valid Minnesota medical license, Board Certification, and DEA registration
• Maintain a minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN clinical experience
• Complete credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting, prior to commencement of services
• Comply with all applicable compliance, privileging, and documentation requirements
