Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 24-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $193 – $208/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB for a temporary assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. These positions are 24-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB:
• Provide OB/GYN General Clinic Coverage across multiple clinic locations
• See 18-22 patients per day in a clinic setting
• Perform General Clinic procedures including LARC insertion, Colposcopy, Endometrial Biopsy, and LEEP
• Work Monday through Friday with flexible start and end times between 7am-3pm
• Participate in overnight (7pm-7am) or weekend call shifts (7am-7am) as needed, with call shifts being 12 or 24 hours
• Collaborate with midwives, Nurse Practitioners, and clinical support staff including Clinical Assistants and RNs
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain active Minnesota state medical license and DEA certification
• Maintain Board Certification in OB/GYN
• Comply with credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to performing services
• Complete fingerprinting requirements prior to privileges being granted
• Adhere to holiday and overtime scheduling policies as defined by the facility
