Job Title: Emergency Medicine
Location: Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $205 – $221/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Emergency Medicine for a temporary assignment in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Emergency Medicine:
• Staff the Emergency Department as an Emergency Medicine attending locum
• Work approximately 10-13 shifts per month on a 3-month assignment (7p-7a shifts)
• Practice in a Critical Access Hospital environment with 14% pediatric volume and limited onsite specialty support
• See approximately 2.5 to 3 patients per hour
• Manage an average daily census of 20-24 patients per day
• Provide care across all patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Utilize Epic EMR/charting system for all documentation
• Maintain board certification in Emergency Medicine (Internal Medicine and Family Practice not accepted)
• Maintain valid Massachusetts state medical license
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain active DEA registration in Massachusetts
• Apply experience in community, rural, or critical access hospital settings
• Complete credentialing and privileging requirements within the designated timeframe of 3 to 4 months
• Provide name and NPI number for submittal and name clearance purposes
