Job Title: SLP
Location: Albany, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $64/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a SLP for a temporary assignment in Albany, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a SLP:
• Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing
• Record overnight polysomnographic (PSG) and video recordings of patient sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation
• Communicate and coordinate activities with Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor
• Administer sleep medications per policy
• Maintain current unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License
• Maintain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification through the BRPT
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider BLS certification
• Apply knowledge and experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy
• Conduct diagnostic tests to detect sleep disturbances and neurological related disorders
