Job Title: Scrub-Tech
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Scrub-Tech for a temporary assignment in Aspen, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Scrub-Tech:
• Maintain sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner
• Communicate with all members of the Perioperative team to deliver the highest standard of care according to AORN standards during the intraoperative period
• Work collaboratively with co-workers on stocking and ordering of supplies for the department
• Provide additional supportive patient care as directed
• Maintain unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist (ST) in the State of Colorado, or obtain prior to start date
• Apply orthopedic surgical experience in the operating room setting
• Utilize DaVinci Robot experience as required for surgical procedures
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Function safely in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation)
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
