Job Title: Hospice
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 12-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Hospice for a temporary assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado. These positions are 12-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Hospice:
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients and families in a home-like inpatient setting
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills with excellence in assessment and critical thinking
• Serve as a generalist across all diseases while specializing in symptom management
• Educate patients in identifying their own personal goals of care
• Support and empower caregivers in caring for their family members with confidence
• Provide comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support to patients and families
• Deliver intensive medical end-of-life care for patients who can no longer be cared for at home
• Fulfill on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month
• Complete a 3-day orientation (8am-5pm) prior to transitioning to night shift
• Adhere to personalized, patient-centered care practices and facility policies and procedures
