Job Title: PTA
Location: Carlton, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $47 – $50/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in Carlton, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist
• Implement selected components of patient/client interventions (treatment)
• Obtain data related to the interventions provided
• Make modifications in selected interventions to progress the patient/client as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort
• Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, with medical problems or health-related conditions that limit their ability to move and perform functional activities
• Provide patient care in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
• Must have inpatient experience
• Demonstrate astute communication skills with employees, physicians, visitors, administration, and the public
• Operate required equipment with competency and perform technical procedures
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid state licensure/credentialing
• Adhere to general work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Apply bilingual capabilities when helpful (preferred but not required)
