Job Title: PTA
Location: Newport, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $38 – $41/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in Newport, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Administer physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Perform related duties to support the effective and efficient delivery of therapy services
• Provide technical support for therapy service delivery
• Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions causing decline in physical mobility or functional independence
• Deliver specialized services including orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, and chronic pain treatment through movement
• Focus on returning patients to function and community activities
• Maintain a current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
