Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $192 – $207/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide anesthesia services as a CRNA or CAA in a Level I Trauma setting—Level I Trauma experience is mandatory, no exceptions
• Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 5×8 shift schedule
• Perform medically directed anesthesia across general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, OB, and cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with and support surgeons, anesthesiologists, CAAs, and perioperative staff
• Provide full-time coverage within the anesthesia department of a 316-bed academic/training hospital
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation (required)
• Deliver anesthesia care to an adult and older patient population
• Maintain current Board Certification through NBCRNA
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain a valid state license for the state of practice
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of CRNA or CAA experience (2 years preferred), with Level I Trauma experience required
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Complete credentialing process within the required 90-day timeframe for full privileges
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
