Job Title: CARDIAC CATH LAB
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $85 – $91/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CARDIAC CATH LAB for a temporary assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CARDIAC CATH LAB:
• Work in the Interventional/Cardiac/Vascular unit on Day shifts (8 or 10-hour shifts), 40 hours per week
• Take call 1-2 days per week, approximately every 2-3 weekends, including Holidays
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation
• Operate Sensis monitoring systems and Siemens equipment
• Perform procedures including Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, and Cardiac procedures
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Demonstrate basic understanding of Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Apply specialized skills for patients undergoing angiography procedures, cardiac cath procedures, pacemakers, and IABP insertion
• Apply specialized skills involved in hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain basic understanding of radiology equipment and image processing
• Work as part of a 4-person call team
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an interventional cath lab
• Arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
