Job Title: MED-SURG/TELE
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG/TELE for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG/TELE:
• Work primarily on the 4 South Cardiac unit with occasional floating between various Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders
• Work 36 hours per week on night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Work every other weekend as required
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrate current Epic EMR proficiency for documentation purposes
• Demonstrate minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Accurately read and interpret Telemetry (competency will be assessed on day one)
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Disclose all Requested Time Off (RTO) at time of submission
• Comply with scheduling requirements including potential cancellation of up to 36 hours per 13-week contract
