Job Title: PCU
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 8-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PCU for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 8-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PCU:
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Maintain Nursys license verification
• Maintain License/Certificate Verification
• Comply with COVID-19 Vaccine requirements
• Maintain MMR immunization records
• Complete Fit Test requirements
• Maintain Hepatitis B immunization records
• Comply with Influenza Vaccine requirements
• Maintain 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) tuberculosis testing
• Maintain Varicella immunization records
• Maintain Tdap immunization records
• Complete Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete Specialty Competency Exam
• Complete Basic EKG Exam
• Complete Pharmacology Exam
• Complete Core Competencies assessment
• Maintain BSN degree documentation
• Complete Criminal Background Check
• Complete Employment Verification
