Job Title: Lab Tech
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $38 – $41/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Lab Tech for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Lab Tech:
• Will consider candidates with less than 1 year of experience
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Hold a BS in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (copy of academic degree or transcript required upon hire)
• Demonstrate working knowledge of LIS and HIS computer systems
• Operate specialized automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, and microscopes
• Utilize Pevco pneumatic system as required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
