Responsibilities for a Manager:
• Lead a proactive, data-driven infection prevention program to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors from healthcare-associated infections
• Blend clinical expertise with operational leadership to drive infection prevention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to infection prevention
• Strengthen frontline practices through education, consultation, and performance improvement
• Conduct surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections
• Investigate infection clusters and outbreaks
• Perform microbiological monitoring and remediation of the healthcare environment
• Guide infection prevention specialists in identifying trends and mitigating risks
• Shape strategies that advance safety, quality, and 5 STAR performance across the organization
• Apply deep understanding of nursing and patient care environments to support infection prevention goals
