Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Bangor, Maine
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Bangor, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Perform patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director, as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing
• Adhere to applicable hospital policies and procedures in delivering patient care
• Work under direct supervision of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse during assigned shifts
• Maintain current Maine RN license
• Obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of hire
• Obtain MOAB or CPI certifications as preferred
• Apply telemetry experience in patient care settings
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Function as a team player in a collaborative care environment
• Maintain flexible hours as required by the unit
• Uphold core values of compassion, integrity, collaboration, and excellence in all duties
• Provide healing and care for the whole person in service to all community members
