Job Title: L&D
Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $78 – $84/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Gunnison, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Supervise patient care, nursing staff, and OB operations
• Work collaboratively with the Leadership team to facilitate efficient clinical operations
• Support staff development and effective management of resources
• Drive quality improvement initiatives within the OB department
• Demonstrate expertise in People Leadership while remaining available to take bedside shifts as needed
• Maintain minimum graduation from an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred)
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of training and experience in OB Nursing
• Maintain leadership experience within the last 2 years
• Hold a current RN License in the state of Colorado or a compact state
• Comply with Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check requirements
• Maintain access to a reliable source of personal transportation
