Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Kremmling, Colorado
Schedule: 6:00AM – 4:00PM x 6
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Kremmling, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols in patient care delivery
• Achieve patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Maintain current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent certification
• Maintain current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Work night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week plus two call shifts
• Cover emergency department services across multiple locations as needed
• Participate in holiday and on-call rotations as required
• Disclose all requests for time off during the interview process
• Apply Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience and knowledge in patient care delivery
• Operate within a Trauma Level IV facility environment
