Job Title: Urologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $370 – $398/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Urologist:
• Practice in a Urology office setting with clinic, OR, and occasional daytime hospital call (rounding, consults, and add-on cases)
• See a minimum of 14 patients per day, including new patient visits (30-minute max) and 15-minute post-op appointments
• Perform and assist with ureteroscopies and general urology procedures
• Conduct hospital rounds and consults during daytime call coverage as needed
• Work within a 9 exam room and 3 procedure room urology office environment
• Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants, LPN, surgical scheduler, front office staff, and practice manager
• Utilize EPIC EMR system; clinic-setting EPIC experience required
• Maintain Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology
• Hold an active PA license or IMLC LOQ
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Meet minimum of 3 years of experience in urology (new graduates will also be considered)
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch); no nighttime or weekend call required
• Provide coverage for approximately 6 weeks per month
• See adult patient population only; no pediatric patients
