Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide anesthesiology services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting working Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
• Support and medically direct CRNAs, providing coverage 2-3 weeks per month
• Perform medical direction as well as independent anesthesia cases
• Provide anesthesia care for patients of all ages, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with occasional cases involving patients under 1 year of age (e.g., ENT tubes and tonsils)
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB
• Perform orthopedic cases with regional blocks, which represent a significant portion of the caseload
• Maintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Board Certified only; Board Eligible not accepted)
• Maintain active Pennsylvania (PA) license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2+ years of anesthesiology experience
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation and charting
• Complete full credentialing and privileging compliance requirements 2 weeks prior to start date
• Submit required credentialing documents, including Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
• Schedule Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection, with results received within 2 weeks of signing
• Comply with all health requirements including vaccines, physical examination, and fit testing
