Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Chico, California
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $73 – $78/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Chico, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center and Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center
• Work within a 5-pod, 49-bed Emergency Department with a maximum patient ratio of 4:1
• Maintain current California RN license
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation
• Apply a minimum of 2+ years of previous Emergency Room experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher
• Provide care for Pediatric, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke patients
• Maintain current ENPC and TNCC certifications (preferred)
• Float as needed between Med/Surg and Critical Care RN positions
• Comply with facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
