Job Title: OT
Location: Oakland, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Oakland, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Prioritize start of care visits
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants
• Complete mandatory next-day reporting of start of care visits
• Submit clinical notes and other documentation within 48 hours of visit
• Maintain timely communication with supervisor, intake, and office staff
• Be generally responsive during normal business hours
• Maintain valid California Occupational Therapist (OT) License
• Apply a minimum of one year of Home Health experience
• Cover Alameda County territory, with potential expansion as needed
• Work a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Complete 3 full days of training, including one in-house and two in the field
• Utilize Kinnser documentation system for clinical recordkeeping
• Use issued equipment including iPad and Ring Central communication platform
• Meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week
• Obtain pre-approval from Clinical Supervisor before working overtime
