Job Title: OT
Location: Lakeview, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Lakeview, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment to patients upon physician referral
• Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, and sound
• Collaborate with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals
• Maintain thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Maintain a valid Oregon state Physical Therapist license
• Maintain a current valid Oregon driver’s license
• Demonstrate positive attitude and effective communication skills
• Practice effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect with colleagues
• Apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, and managing e-mail communications
