Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a permanent assignment in King City, California.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Provide clinical oversight of the Occupational Therapy Department staff
• Oversee and coordinate the clinical education and competency process for Occupational Therapy staff
• Provide direct supervision of certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards
• Oversee the Occupational Therapy policy and procedure manual addressing scope of care, evaluation/treatment standards, discharge planning, and documentation
• Evaluate and treat patients 80% of the time
• Assist with program development and other administrative tasks 20% of the time
• Function in accordance with State Practice Act
• Maintain current licensure in the State of California by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance
• Possess all additional qualifications as recommended by the CA Therapy Board and the Rehabilitation Services Department
• Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy approved by the respective American Occupational Therapy Associations
