Job Title: Mother-Baby
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Schedule: 10:00PM – 6:30AM x 5
Term: 9-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $75 – $81/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Mother-Baby for a temporary assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. These positions are 9-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Mother-Baby:
• Provide registered nursing care in a Mother Baby/Postpartum unit
• Work night shifts, 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts
• Work every weekend as required for this flex position
• Work all required holidays with no exceptions
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation (documented Epic experience required)
• Maintain active RN license
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA)
• Maintain current NRP certification
• Apply a minimum of 1–2 years of recent Mother Baby/Postpartum experience in clinical practice
• Comply with flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine requirements with no exemptions
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam, Basic EKG Exam, Pharmacology Exam, and Core Competencies upon onboarding
• Provide 2 professional references prior to submission
• Complete and maintain all required health and immunization documentation including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, TB testing, and fit testing
• Submit to criminal background check and employment verification
• Complete RI fingerprinting requirement for RN licensure
• Comply with confidentiality agreements and facility policies and procedures
• Complete orientation packet and onboarding documentation as required
