Job Title: Manager
Location: York, Maine
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $85 – $91/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Manager for a temporary assignment in York, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Manager:
• Provide ongoing leadership and operations oversight of medical/surgical units and ICU
• Ensure nursing care, safety, and quality standards are met
• Apply sound human resource and financial management principles to guide nursing services
• Support comprehensive patient and family services through effective participation with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians for the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
• Assume 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operations
• Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required) and Master’s degree in nursing (preferred)
• Maintain specialty and leadership certification (preferred)
• Manage Inpatient Nursing areas including Med/Surg and ICU
• Work full time, Monday through Friday
