Job Title: PICU
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $73/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PICU for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PICU:
• Work in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through delivery of professional nursing care
• Provide nursing care appropriate to patients’ age and condition as documented in the nursing and medical plans of care
• Adhere to evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards
• Float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU units as required
• Work day and/or night shifts (7a-7p & 7p-7a) as determined during interview
• Maintain current State RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges
• Maintain current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current Advanced NRP certification
• Comply with flu vaccination requirements from October through April, or complete and adhere to Declination & Masking Protocol agreements if unvaccinated
• Adhere to masking requirements during the full respiratory virus season if not vaccinated for flu or COVID-19
• Utilize facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with medical and nursing plans of care
