Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $72 – $77/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Petaluma, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, and functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safe movement techniques, and home modifications.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure that care plans align with regulatory requirements and best practices in physical therapy.
