Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 21-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $187 – $201/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 21-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient psychiatry coverage on a 7 days on/off schedule with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
• Perform 1-2 nights of call per 7-day shift cycle
• Cover a 24-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including a 6-bed adolescent unit and a general adult unit
• Conduct ER psychiatric evaluations and general hospital consultations
• Must be willing to see all ages and diagnoses in the ER and for general hospital consultations
• Utilize telemedicine as needed to connect with the general hospital
• Collaborate with APPs, social work, discharge team, and intake team
• Work alongside another psychiatrist on a rotating 7 days on/off schedule, with typical change day on Thursday
• Must be Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
• Complete full orientation prior to start of assignment
• Must be able to start orientation on 9/9 to complete a full orientation period
