Job Title: Urologist
Location: Longview, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $278 – $299/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Urologist:
• Hold active MD/DO license; Washington state license must be in hand at time of presentation (IMLC accepted with Letter of Qualification in hand)
• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence
• Perform yearly refills and routine urology clinic management
• Perform cystoscopies and serve as surgical assist as needed
• Perform standard urology procedures in both clinic and operating room settings, including: Catheter placement, Stent placement, Cystoscopy, TURP, Ureteroscopy, Prostate biopsy, Circumcision, Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), Orchiopexy, TURBT, Hydrocelectomy, Spermatocelectomy, PVP, and Litholapaxy
• Da Vinci robotic surgery experience is a strong plus but not required
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a medical center and urology clinic
• Maintain hospital and clinic privileges at both locations
• Manage an average of 18 patients per day
• Cover 7 days of unrestricted call per month with a 10-minute return call response time and a travel radius of 30–45 minutes
• Provide documentation (case list) of 100 surgical procedures performed within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Provide a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Adhere to COVID-19 vaccination requirement (no exemptions)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training and orientation modules
• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and credentialing requirements
