Location: Morgan Hill, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Morgan Hill, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Provide occupational therapy services at 40 hours per week
• Deliver patient care in accordance with established occupational therapy standards and best practices
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and treatment sessions
• Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations governing occupational therapy practice
• Maintain current and valid occupational therapy licensure and required certifications
• Participate in required training, competency assessments, and continuing education programs
• Follow facility policies and procedures related to patient care and safety
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
