Job Title: OT
Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $51 – $55/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Pahala, Hawaii. These positions are 26-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Must possess an active State of Hawaii license prior to start of assignment
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both Outpatient and Inpatient settings
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
• Independently manage a full patient caseload
• Demonstrate knowledge of when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization
• Work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary based on hospital operations
• Utilize EMR systems including Net Health Therapy and Meditech for documentation
• Maintain current BLS certification from American Red Cross
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Outpatient and Acute settings working with adults
• Work day shift Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Arrive the Thursday prior to the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
