Job Title: Manager
Location: Calais, Maine
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $64 – $69/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Manager for a temporary assignment in Calais, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Manager:
• Supervise hospital operations under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Nursing
• Assume responsibility for the coordination of age-appropriate patient care activities in the absence of the CNO or DON
• Utilize knowledge of standards, policies, and procedures to guide patient care delivery
• Coordinate nursing care activities within nursing services in the absence of Unit Directors
• Provide overall management of the facility during assigned shifts
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of the role
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts
• Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Maintain current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Obtain NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• Demonstrate clinical proficiency in age-appropriate care of patients using the nursing process
• Demonstrate leadership skills with strengths in communication, organization, conflict management, and problem-solving
• Function independently and act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Pursue BSN if not already obtained
