Job Title: MED-SURG/TELE
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG/TELE for a temporary assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG/TELE:
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history and current medical status
• Collect and evaluate vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in the planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician
• Maintain valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Apply strong MS/Telemetry nursing experience in patient care delivery
• Utilize excellent mathematical and analytical skills in patient care and documentation
• Communicate effectively using strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
