Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Eugene, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:30PM x 2
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $206 – $222/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Eugene, Oregon. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient or consultative physician services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Perform rounding and admissions for adult patient demographics
• Work within a 35-bed inpatient unit with a variable daily census
• Collaborate as part of a team; provider will not be working solo
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Demonstrate provision of inpatient or consultative services for at least 30 patients during the past 24 months, or completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research within the past 12 months
• Provide case log documentation: applicants directly out of residency must provide a residency log; applicants not directly out of residency must provide a quality profile showing clinical activity for the last 24 months
• Maintain valid state licensure (Oregon licensure required due to urgent start)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements (no exemptions)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation as required by the client
• Adhere to all applicable facility policies, procedures, and compliance documentation requirements
