Location: White River Junction, Vermont
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 16-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in White River Junction, Vermont. These positions are 16-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Screen, evaluate, re-evaluate, and treat patients as a Physical Therapist in a home health setting
• Coordinate and communicate treatment activities with interdisciplinary team members and the patient
• Evaluate the patient’s need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan
• Carry out appropriate treatment programs in accordance with professional standards of care
• Communicate with all members of the health care team
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and objectives
• Teach patients and family members the rationale for treatments and procedures
• Maintain a valid Physical Therapist license in VT and NH, or hold an unencumbered compact license
• Apply a minimum of one year of experience as a PT in a home healthcare setting
