Job Title: ICU
Location: ST JOHNSBURY, Vermont
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $61 – $66/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ICU for a temporary assignment in ST JOHNSBURY, Vermont. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ICU:
• Provide quality nursing care for patients requiring a critical care setting during hospitalization
• Coordinate exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Deliver care in accordance with AACN Standards in a professional manner appropriate to each patient’s age, physical ability, and intellectual development
• Demonstrate proficiency in delivering treatment and adapting care to meet the needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Read and interpret telemetry
• Apply critical care experience and a minimum of two years of RN experience in daily practice
• Work within a four-bed open ICU environment
• Ensure all required credentials are uploaded three business days prior to start date
• Begin shifts on Wednesdays per traveler scheduling requirements
• Adhere to guaranteed hours provisions, including adjusted hours during orientation week for 48-hour contract travelers
