Job Title: MED SURG PEDS
Location: Morrisville, Vermont
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $55 – $60/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED SURG PEDS for a temporary assignment in Morrisville, Vermont. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED SURG PEDS:
• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care to assigned patients
• Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Adhere to the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation of work to other levels of employees
• Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care
• Maintain active ACLS certification prior to contract start date
• Maintain active BLS certification prior to contract start date
• Maintain active PALS or ENPC certification prior to contract start date
• Maintain active de-escalation training certification prior to contract start date
• Ensure any required certifications not yet active have a booked course scheduled at time of Clinical Orientation
